Location

Hampton WickI give guitar lessons in Sutton and Hampton Wick. These are near to Cheam, Carshalton, Morden (Sutton) and Kingston, Teddington, Twickenham, Hampton Hill (Hampton Wick). It’s also easy to travel to either from Richmond, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden and Surbiton.

Sutton guitar lessons are on Monday and Wednesdays or weekday daytimes.

Hampton Wick Guitar Lessons are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Getting to Sutton by Public Transport

Train

I am 10 minutes walk from Sutton train station which is on the Southern line from Victoria, or Thameslink through Central London. Regular trains run from Mitcham Eastfields and Mitcham Junction, Hackbridge, Carshalton, Epsom, Morden, Wimbledon, Clapham Junction and London Victoria

Bus

Sutton is served by many buses including 80, 154, 164, 213, 280, 407, 413, 470, S1, S3, S4 and X26 bus routes. See here for a map of Sutton bus routes. Bus stops E, F and G on the map are closest to where I teach.

Getting to Sutton by Car

I am on Lenham Road in Sutton, postcode SM1 4EB. It is just off the main ring road around the Sutton High Street. See bottom of this page for map.

Please note that residents parking is in force from 8:00am – 6:30pm in the area. If you need to park during those times there is a public car park at the end of the road – Times Square Car Park, SM1 4BG – which is £2 for 1 hour or £3 for 2 hours.

Getting to Hampton Wick by Public Transport

Train

I am literally 60 seconds walk from Hampton Wick train station which is on the South West Trains Waterloo – Shepperton line. It’s also on the route which loops from Waterloo through Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Wimbledon, Kingston, Twickenham, Richmond and back to London Waterloo.

Trains run every 15 minutes to Waterloo and every 30 mins to and from Richmond and Shepperton.

Bus

Hampton Wick is well served by the 281, 285 and 481 bus routes. See here for a map of Hampton Wick bus routes.

281 bus – This goes from Tolworth through Surbiton and Kingston to Hampton Wick, and in the other direction from Hounslow through Twickenham, Fulwell and Teddington to Hampton Wick. It runs about every 8 minutes during the main part of the day.

285 bus – This goes from Heathrow through Feltham, Hanworth, Hampton Hill and Teddington to Hampton Wick, then on to Kingston where it terminates. It runs every 10 minutes during the main part of the day.

481 bus – This goes from Isleworth through Whitton, Fulwell, Teddington to Hampton Wick, then on to Kingston where it terminates. It runs hourly.

Getting to Hampton Wick by Car

I am on Vicarage Road in Hampton Wick, postcode KT1 4EB. It is just off Hampton Wick High Street (A310) near Kingston Bridge. See map at bottom of page.

Please note that residents parking is in force from 8:30am – 6:30pm in the area. There are pay-and-display bays on my road which cost approx. £1.25 per hour. There is also a small car park on Bennett Close which is free for 1 hour and is only a couple of minutes walk from Vicarage Road.
