Getting to Sutton by public transport
Train
I am 10 minutes walk from Sutton train station which is on the Southern line from Victoria, or Thameslink through Central London. Regular trains run from Mitcham Eastfields and Mitcham Junction, Hackbridge, Carshalton, Epsom, Morden, Wimbledon, Clapham Junction and London Victoria.
Bus
Sutton is served by many buses including 80, 154, 164, 213, 280, 407, 413, 470, S1, S3, S4 and X26 bus routes. See here for a map of Sutton bus routes. Bus stops E, F and G on the map are closest to where I teach.
Getting to Sutton by car
I am on Lenham Road in Sutton, postcode SM1 4EB. It is just off the main ring road around the Sutton High Street. See bottom of this page for map.
Please note that residents parking is in force from 8:00am – 6:30pm in the area. If you need to park during those times there is a public car park at the end of the road – Times Square Car Park, SM1 4BG – which is £2 for 1 hour or £3 for 2 hours.
